Kyle Camu
I am a native of Raleigh, North Carolina. After studying psychology in University in 2011 and preparing to go to dental school, I had a change of heart. I decided instead to travel the world. During my third year living in Shanghai, China, I rediscovered my childhood passion of drawing. Shortly afterwards, I decided to start a comic strip. I released a new strip every week for two years. At the end of these two years, I realized what I loved most was illustrating and not so much joke-writing. I then began to dedicate my time to drawing, digital art, and oil painting. In 2020, I studied at the Academy of Classical Design under Jeffrey Mims. I now teach art and spend most of my time illustrating and oil painting.
